Indoor Cycle and RealRyder:
Our Indoor Cycle Studio is the place to be for cycle enthusiasts; choose from our Spinner Bikes for that long-standing tried and true workout AND/OR try our new RealRyder ABF8 -- the bike that looks and feels like an outdoor bike! All of our certified instructors use various styles while staying true to the Indoor Cycle experience.
Wondering where we are? Follow the signs! Take the steps past our newly renovated fitness floor downstairs. We are downstairs next to the racquetball court. While you’re there check out our bulletin board with all the latest and greatest on Indoor Cycling and RealRyder.
When entering our Indoor Cycle classes, you’ll be greeted by a certified instructor with a long history of indoor cycling experience.
On our Spinner bikes, regardless of your experience level, you will take your workouts to new levels. Engaging your lower body and pushing your cardio to that next level will keep you coming back for more. Climbing, jumping and sprints are all part of the aerobic workout. Bring your water, bike shoes or sneakers and get ready for 45 minutes of hard work and a lot of fun!
Our RealRyder Program is new to our facility—we’re not sure how we lived without it! Our RealRyder ABF8 adds new motion to the indoor cycle phenomenon. The articulating bike frame allows you to steer, lean and feel like you’re actually out on the road. The RealRyder bike adds upper body, core muscles and balance to the lower body and cardio workout that other stationary bikes bring to the table. More movements, more muscles stimulated and more calories burned!
Things to Remember when coming to an Indoor Cycle Class:
- Check with your Doctor! Always check with your doctor before starting any new exercise program.
- Come early if you’re new. Try to come 10-15 minutes ahead to get acclimated with the bike-that way you can start on time with the rest of the class.
- Tell the instructor you’re new! They will help you set up your bike and discuss technique with you.
- Inform the instructor of any health conditions that might effect your ride.
- Proper shoes are a must! Rubber soled sneakers or cycle shoes are required.
- HYDRATE! HYDRATE! HYDRATE! Rule of thumb 40 ounces of water for a 40-minute class, that means you should be drinking before, during and after class!
- Come Back! Remember EVER new person to the Indoor Cycle program feels the same way (we promise!). It’s something new, it’s different than any other form of exercise you’ve done and it’s not easy. 3 classes and you’ll be singing a different tune, trust us!
The Cycling schedule can be found on the Group Exercise page.
