Camp Staff Info

Why you should work at Camp Davis:
When you spend your summer working as a camp counselor it’s not just a job, it’s an experience. Each summer as a camp counselor you spend your time with a group of children whose lives will be changed because you were part of them. When they tell stories to their children they won’t be telling stories of going to arts and crafts, they will tell stories of their amazing counselors and the fun they had because of them.
But what’s in it for you? As a summer camp counselor you will not only have a job that looks great on your resume, you will also build skills in managing small groups, working as part of a team, dealing with challenging situations, and thinking on your feet! Even more importantly, as staff at Camp Davis you will become part of the Camp Davis family and will build friendships that will last you a lifetime. Ask any summer camp counselor and they will tell you about the friendships they made and the feeling of being at camp. As we said, it’s not just a job.
