JCC Maccabi Games

Join Team Nashville for the JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest 2020!

This year, in San Diego from August 2nd-7th. Last year in Atlanta Team Nashville took home over 20 medals, including a big Silver Medal win for our Flag Football team and a ton of Gold medals from our track star, Holly Schreiber and our bowler, Leia Miller. Ask ANY previous participant and they will tell you, it’s an experience like no other. The JCC Maccabi Games/ArtsFest pulls together over 2,000 Jewish teens for competition, fun nighttime activities, a home housing experience giving them the chance to really connect with local delegation teens, and last but definitely not least, the chance to represent Nashville on a National scale.

More than 2,000 participants from around the world will come to San Diego to compete in sports, participate in artistic workshops and embrace the Experiences’ Midot Values including Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) and Amiut Yehudit (Jewish Peoplehood). These sentiments are shared throughout the week during unique experiences designed to strengthen the Jewish bond between people, community and Israel.  It’s an opportunity to learn the value of teamwork, integrity, cultural pride and community service, while expanding an appreciation of Jewish values and building lifelong friendships.

So the question is, do you know of, or ARE YOU, a Jewish teen ages 13-16 who is interested in taking part in an experience of a lifetime? Click here to check out the Jewish Observer article recapping the 2019 Games in ATL.

The games this year are from August 2nd- 7th in San Diego, CA. We only have 18 SPOTS for Team Nashville and we are anticipating that we will fill the team early on.
